About Alli

Alli currently lives in Manchester with her fiancé and dog. She enjoys hanging out at AG paintball while her fiancé plays/coaches his team as well as participate in some arts and crafts. During high school, Alli went to MST and started her journey by taking early childhood development classes. From there she has worked in child care for the past six years. She loves working at White Birch because everyone treated with respect and as teachers, can run our class is the way we want in a professional manner as a team.  Of course, Alli also loves that she works with children all day!

About Makayla

Makayla lives in Loudon, NH with her husband Trevor and cat Emma. In her spare time, she loves going on walks outside, hiking, fishing, and getting lost in a good book.

She has always felt drawn to the world of childcare. Ever since taking ECE college classes in high school, she fell in love with Early Childhood Education and has stayed there ever since. She particularly finds it rewarding to see the kids in her care grow and learn every single day. Makayla currently has an associate degree in early childhood education and has plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the near future.

Since starting at White Birch Center in March of 2023, she feels grateful to be here. Her favorite thing about working here is singing songs, reading books, and working on arts and crafts projects with the children in her care.

About Nicole

Nicole currently lives in Weare, NH with her husband, teenage son, and rescue dog. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going out on the lake, attending her sons sporting events, and planning fundraising events for youth sports as well as similar programs found within our community. Nicole has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Granite State College and attended NHTI for Special Education. She has also earned her Individual Mentor, Master Teacher, Early Childhood Administration, and Infant & Toddler Intermediate Level credentials. Nicole loves working with children and strives every day to do her best in supporting the children in her care. We are lucky to have a teacher like her at White Birch Center!

About Hillary

Hillary Knight lives in Goffstown with her son and husband. She’s excited to be a part of the White Birch community because of the warm and welcoming energy the center and its staff have. She joined the toddler classroom because it is her favorite age to work with. “It’s so fun to watch them make new connections as they learn and grow.” Hillary has her associates degree in Early Childhood Education from NHTI, and her bachelor’s in Early Childhood Development from Granite State College. Outside of work, she spends much of her time having fun with family or friends.

About Caitlyn

Caitlyn Nadeau grew up in Hillsboro, NH and currently lives in Concord. She has worked at White Birch Center for three years. She has been working in the Elementary Education and Early Education field for over 7 years. Summer is her favorite season because she loves to go camping in the White Mountains. Caitlyn’s favorite thing about working at WBC is being able to watch the growth and progress of all the children. She is thankful for the chance to work with the lovely families of White Birch Center.

About Maggie

Maggie grew up in Warner, N.H., and moved to Henniker in 2021. In her free time, she loves to color and play with her cat named Loki. She started working at White Birch in July of 2021 and has been working in the E.C.E. field for three years. What she loves most about working at White Birch are the connections she’s made with the children and the friendships with fellow staff members.

About Teresa

Teresa Speigel became a part of the White Birch family in the Spring of 2022. She has been in the field for over 27 years and is currently working toward her Early Childhood Credential through White Birch Center. Teresa has worked a great deal in special education departments, and we are looking forward to using her as a resource to meet the needs of our students. Something fun about Teresa is she shares her living space with not only her family, but with cats, birds and bearded dragons!

Rebecca Gagnon became part of the White Birch family in the Spring of 2022. She has been in the field of ECE for more than 12 years and brings with her a tremendous amount of experience and expertise. Rebecca has achieved an Early Childhood Teacher Credential level one. We are happy to have her as part of our early learning team!

Jessica Klein is from Melrose, Massachusetts. She is a newlywed living with her husband Chris, daughter Lyla, and stepson Max right here in Henniker. She started with White Birch Center in the summer of 2020 but has been in the ECE field for 8 years and is working towards her BA. She loves anything and everything summer even the sticky humidity

About Rose

Rose started working in the White Birch Infant Classroom in May of 2023. She currently lives in Concord, NH with her mom, dad, brother, and three cats she loves. When Rose isn’t at White Birch, you can find her playing the piano, painting, taking photos with her camera, or spending time with her friends.  

Rose is currently attending Plymouth State University where she studies Art Education and Art History. At that college campus’s childcare center is where she found her passion for Early Education.  She feels grateful to be able to help develop and shape the minds of some of our youngest learners.

I am originally from Northfield, Nh but moved to Henniker a couple years ago. I am new to ECE and am excited to learn more, I am also furthering my education at NHTI for radiation therapy. In my free time I spending time with my friends and family. White Birch has been an amazing place to work and I am excited to see where it takes me!

About Charline

Charline joined White Birch Center as a substitute teacher for our Early Learning & Extended Education programs in September 2022. She currently lives on Ashuelot River in Washington, NH with her miniature schnauzer named Franz. Her passion for teaching began at a young age and blossomed into a life-long career and venture. What she loves most about White Birch is the support, guidance, sense of humor, and general friendliness that she has always felt since her first day as a substitute teacher.

About Katelyn

Katelyn started at White Birch Center June of 2023 and will be working in the Infant and Toddler Classrooms! She currently lives in Deering, NH with her parents, older sister and two younger brothers. In her spare time, she likes to play guitar, attends services and programs at her local church, and volunteers at the Hillsboro Food Pantry every Tuesday evening.

Katelyn finds working with children very rewarding. The opportunity to work with children allows her to see each child in her care learn and grow every single day. Before working at White Birch, she worked at the New Boston Christian Preschool / Kindergarten from September 2022 to June 2023. Katelyn loves how friendly and welcoming everyone has been here at WBC and is excited to be part of our Early Learning Program. Stop by the Infant / Toddler Classroom and say hello to Miss Katelyn.
