Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Presents Pinnacle Award to White Birch Center

White Birch Center of Henniker, NH was recently honored as the Non-Profit Business of the Year at the 12th Annual Pinnacle Awards, held at the Marriott Grappone Conference Center in Concord. The Pinnacle Awards, presented through the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, recognize professional excellence and commitment to the Chamber and the community.

Phil Hastings, the Chamber’s incoming chair, recognized each of the recipient’s contributions to a crowd of nearly 250 attendees. Hastings spoke to the important services White Birch Center provides to the community, as well as the organization’s longevity of service, and high standards of practice. Marc McMurphy, Executive Director for White Birch, accepted the award on behalf of the organization’s staff, board of directors, volunteers, program participants, and community supporters. “Non-profits fill a critical gap in our communities; we are honored to receive the Non-Profit Business of the Year Award in recognition of our impact and business practices in serving children, seniors, and families,” stated McMurphy.

Additional Pinnacle award winners included Mayor James Bouley (Business Leader of the Year), Merrimack County Savings Bank (Business of the Year), Arnie’s Place (Small Business of the Year), and Severino Trucking (Outstanding Performance). The Chamber also recognized its Leadership class, outstanding volunteers, and young professionals.
