Program Descriptions

Tiny Explorers

(10 Months to 5 Years of Age) 

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 10:00 am 

Location: Cornerstone Building- 116 Main St, Henniker

This program is designed for family fun, offering developmentally appropriate activities. Activities include painting, coloring, creating handmade crafts, and enhancing social skills for participants. The goal is to create a space where children can socialize, play, relax, and share ideas. 

Outdoor Exploration Program

(All Ages Welcome) 

Wednesdays from 9:30 am – 11:00 am 

Location: Various locations within the Henniker area

This outdoor-based program for children (no age limit) and their parents/caregivers is a great way to get outside, enjoy a hike, visit playgrounds and other fun locations. Locations will be determined each week and announced through email and White Birch Center social media pages. 

Junior Explorers

(Ages 6- 10 Years) 

Fridays from 3:00 – 4:00 pm 

Location: Cornerstone Building- 116 Main St, Henniker

This program is designed to be a fun space for painting, coloring, crafts, and socializing. Children can play, chat, relax, and share ideas while developing critical interpersonal skills with kids of similar ages, in a supervised and low-key environemnt.

Let's Get Creative

 (Ages 10-14 Years)

Meeting 7/22, 8/05, and 08/19

 11:30 am – 12:30 pm

Location: The Cornerstone Building, 116 Main St, Henniker

This program is designed for individuals who are looking to tap into their creative juices. It is intended to inspire out of the box, artistic and innovative ways of thinking. Each session will have an activity and/or craft for participants to participate in, but will also provide a chance for everyone to try something new.

undercover stitchers

(Ages 10 & Older) 

 

This program is designed for individuals who want to unlock their creativity and learn the timeless art of quilting. This is a fun and engaging beginner class designed especially for teens! The program will meet on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Participants will receive hands-on instructions in beginner, essential quilting skills.  The supportive and positive environment will build confidence in using a sewing machine, learning basic techniques, and completing an exciting, personalized handmade work of art. No prior sewing experience is required. All materials will be provided, and sewing machines will be available for use.
