Active Living Program
“I don’t know where I’d be without White Birch Center. I would not be able to do all {these} stairs, you see, if it wasn’t for the Bone Builders and yoga classes. I admit I was going slow, but I was still able to do it.”
For the first seven years {of our marriage}, White Birch was the vast majority of our social life. White Birch is our choice. This is what we want to do. It’s the association with the people– that’s the big thing.
Child Care Programming
When a family enrolled their granddaughter at White Birch Center, they hoped to find a nurturing place for her to learn and grow — and found so much more. Her teachers’ warmth, creativity, and daily connection helped her thrive and sparked curiosity through art, science, and inquiry. The family shared, “These teachers have created an atmosphere of exploration and care… the children know they are loved.”
WBC lets my child PLAY! My child is part of the After School Program and gets to play while she learns how to interact with her peers; make decisions with her peers; have discussions with her peers; and have fun with her peers. Energy is exerted. I have an exhausted child when we pick her up – good exhausted. Also, the WBC teachers help her with her homework! This is a complete win! The whole White Birch family holds a special place in my heart. They help me be a better mom.”
Family Resource Center
In a moment of panic and uncertainty, I discovered I wasn’t alone. At any age, facing crisis without guidance can feel overwhelming—but one call to Cornerstone changed everything. That single meeting replaced fear with hope and opened doors to resources I never knew existed. From medical support to housing and pantry assistance, Cornerstone (especially Morgan) provided the critical information I needed to act. Their compassion and clarity made all the difference when I needed help the most. I believe Cornerstone can empower anyone facing hardship—just like they did for me.
White Birch Center Employees
Working on cross-program events helped me see how much happens across White Birch Center — and how connected it all is. From early learning and family programs to fitness and art classes to community gatherings, every piece supports another. It reminded me that White Birch isn’t just where we work; it’s a place that helps people grow and feel they belong.
Joining White Birch Center two years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve made for both my career and my family. I’m grateful to be part of an organization that creates such a positive impact in the community—and even more grateful that my children have been able to grow here as well. Through the Early Learning Program at WBC, they truly flourished socially and emotionally. When people describe White Birch Center as a family, it’s more than a phrase—it’s the experience you feel every day.
