Progressive early education center in Henniker is looking for a Lead Teacher to help support the start of an additional childcare classroom for infants as young as 6 weeks!

Some duties include but are not limited to:

• Observes all rules and regulations at White Birch Center and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
• Assesses and documents each child’s developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the White Birch Center’s curriculum and programming.
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.

• Qualifications: Applicant should be able to work with children of all ages, but more specifically ages birth to 1 year of age. The ideal person must be kind, patient, dependable, responsible, and should have experience working with children. Experience in Early Childhood Development, Early Intervention, Daycare, Preschool, or in Childcare is required. Must also have an Early Childhood/Education Degree or at least 9 credits in that field. CPR and First Aid certifications are desired.
