Preschool (36-48 mos)
The White Birch Center for Early Learning is a year round child care program for children ages one to five years old. As a License Plus designated child care center, White Birch is committed not only to quality child care for children ages 1 to 5 but also to early learning. Our early learning center also includes a kindergarten wrap around program to accommodate families who need child care and also have children in the morning or afternoon kindergarten program at Henniker Community School. White Birch Center has two playgrounds, a one- and two-year-old playground and a three- to five-year-old playground. All ages have individual classrooms located in the same building.
Kaitlyn began working at White Birch in May of 2012 down at the school age program while she finished her degree at NEC. She is originally from New York (Go Yankees) but has been living in Henniker for the past seven years. She moved up here to attend NEC where she received her B.S in Health Science and Psychology. When she is not working, she loves playing with her German Shepard, hiking and spending time with her family!
Alicia has worked at White Birch since December of 2015. Most of her time here has been spent in the TOT room, but has recently moved to the Preschool classroom. Alicia grew up in Hillsboro, where she still lives. She has been working with children since she was 13 helping her mother with Girl Scout programs. In her free time she enjoys going to the movies, reading books, hiking with her dog, and playing with her niece and nephew.

She has recently moved to Hillsborough, and loves baking and cooking for friends and family or working on her book “Inclusive Curriculum”.
Celeste has been working at White Birch Center for the past two years while finishing high school. Over this past summer Celeste took on a fulltime position because she loves working with kids and helping them grow. She grew up right here in Henniker and recently graduated from John Stark Regional High School. She is hoping to further her education in Early Childhood Development. During her free time she enjoys going to the beach, taking walks and spending time with her family.
Jillian has worked at White Birch since August 2017 in the preschool classroom. She is a graduate of John Stark Regional High School and is going to school for nursing along with her part time position here. Jillian grew up in Weare, NH and is interested in hockey, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
Dana is a substitute teacher at White Birch. She is a 1988 Graduate Of New England College with a major in English, Psychology and Early Childhood Education. She began working at White Birch in 1989 as the lead teacher for the toddler program. In 1996 she began the process of adopting the first of her two daughters. She then became a stay at home mother during that time and later on as her daughters grew older her and her husband Adam created and ran their own family centered surf school based at Jenness beach in Rye, New Hampshire. Now that their youngest daughter is in College, Dana is happy to once again return to the incredible White Birch Community which is and has always been dear to her heart. It brings Dana incredible joy to watch your children grow and learn. And she am so happy and honored to be a part of the team of your child's first teachers.
